1. Who we are

The Eastern Ink operates theeastern.ink and related services ("Service"). This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: such as email and profile identifiers when you sign in with a provider (for example Google or Apple).
  • Creative inputs: text you submit (for example prompts) and related preferences used to generate AI text and to produce non-AI blueprint outputs.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, cookies or similar technologies, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment processor (for example Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; the processor handles card data according to its policies.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate you and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Process payments and fulfill purchases.
  • Communicate about the Service, security, or legal requirements.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing and subprocessors

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, authentication, payment processing (e.g. Stripe), and infrastructure vendors. They may process data only as instructed and subject to appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal information as a commodity.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights where applicable.

8. International transfers

We may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
